Autumn in Vermont is here, finally!
I have lived in Vermont my entire life and Autumn has always been my favorite season; not just for the beautiful foliage and fun activities, but for the crisp air and sweater weather. I love how your wardrobe just completely changes from sleeveless blouses with shorts and sandals to cozy sweaters, thick leggings and boots. I definitely have more of an Autumn and Winter style than any other season, mainly because, ahem, LAYERING and there are so many fun ways to put different pieces together.
I absolutely LOVE the way that this long vest completely changes the way this outfit looks. And, it’s simple and a neutral color and can be paired with so many different things. I’m seeing these vests everywhere. Finally, the only thing I love more than putting outfits together is putting affordable outfits together. Since I’m in the start of my career and two years post-grad, I strictly shop “bargains” and try to find new ways to put older pieces together to create new and interesting outfits. I like to think that I’m doing something right because I frequently am asked where I buy some of my pieces and complimented on how I put things together. So, I hope you agree!
